Located in the heart of Osu, Accra, St. James Catholic Church is an important center for Catholic worship and community activities, regularly hosting religious services and public gatherings.

To enhance overall security management and operational efficiency, the church deployed a modern JOVISION video surveillance system covering both indoor and outdoor areas.

The project adopted a JOVISION 64-channel NVR as the core management platform, enabling centralized monitoring and management across multiple areas while also supporting future system expansion.

For outdoor monitoring, the project deployed JOVISION ADL Series smart dual-light cameras. Featuring Dual Smart Illumination technology, the cameras automatically switch between infrared and white light modes to provide clear full-color images at night. Humanoid Motion Detection helps reduce false alarms caused by environmental interference, thereby improving monitoring accuracy.The ADL Series also includes built-in microphones for audio recording, built-in PoE for simplified installation, and IP67 weatherproof protection to ensure stable outdoor operation under harsh weather conditions.

For indoor monitoring, the church selected the SDL Series full-color smart cameras.Equipped with Full-Color Dual Smart Illumination technology, these cameras deliver vivid and detailed color images even in low-light environments, making them ideal for worship halls, corridors, and other indoor public areas.

The SDL Series supports Spotlight Motion Detection, automatically activating warning lights when abnormal movement is detected.Built-in microphones and speakers also enable two-way audio communication for remote interaction and voice reminders.In addition, the SDL Series is equipped with JOVISION’s unique VQC (Video Quality Catalyst) technology, which enhances image clarity and color performance.Support for up to 512GB SD card local storage also provides additional backup protection for important recordings.

Through this deployment, St. James Catholic Church has established a reliable, intelligent, and comprehensive security surveillance system, improving daily security management while creating a safer environment for clergy members, worshippers, and community visitors.
